ACM-W is for change leaders - both men and women - who foster gender balance in computing.

Our Mission:

NWO ACM-W encourages men and women to participate in ACM’s mission to foster:

• An increased knowledge of and greater interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management and applications of modern computing.
• A means of communication between persons having an interest in computing.

Our Chapter was chartered through ACM in 2018.

Join our Chapter

ACM-W supports, celebrates, and advocates internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of the computing field, providing a wide range of programs and services to ACM members and working in the larger community to advance the contributions of technical women. ACM-W is supported and funded by ACM, our parent organization, and Google, Microsoft Research, and Oracle.

Local Chapter membership does not require the international ACM membership ($99/yr.) though it is encouraged.
